Capturing Southern Africa's Wild Beauty

                                              Our Story

I first saw daylight when I was very small — which, to be fair, is how most people arrive — in Cape Town, before being whisked away by my parents to grow up in Namaqualand. I only just scraped through my secondary education at Vredendal High School (the less said about that, the better).
I started my career as an Air Traffic Controller, working at various airports around the country, and retired mid-2022 — successfully landing that chapter of my life, so to speak.
I was born to wandering parents who loved to travel, and as I grew older, the bug bit me too. Now I am a wanderer into the African bush — lover of photography, quiet contemplation, and the fine art of just sitting. Especially in the bush. Sometimes with friends, and sometimes armed only with my wife.
We started off travelling locally, then ventured into Namibia. A friend of ours gave us a nudge to join them in Botswana in 2009 — and that’s when the bug bit us seriously. Since then, we have regularly ventured into Southern Africa, exploring and experiencing everything that nature has to offer.
